What is AI agent orchestration?
AI agent orchestration coordinates which agent or person does each step, what information they use, when they hand off work and what happens when a step fails. It tracks dependencies, permissions and approvals so a business process can continue within its agreed scope.
From a proposal to work across systems
In an illustrative customer onboarding case, orchestration can collect permitted CRM and document records, check whether the required document is present, request it if missing, then route the complete case to its authorized reviewer. The review depends on the completeness check. If the request fails, verify whether it was sent before retrying; if the documents conflict, pause and send the exception to the named owner. The workflow records each handoff and confirmed effect under the agreed approval policy.

Completion and outcome are different checks
A workflow can complete correctly without producing the intended business result. The Nodes design preserves both checks: whether the work executed and what happened afterward. A failed or inconclusive intervention stays in the shared context, with scope and evidence for the next evaluation. Storing the result alone does not prove the system learned from it.
An exception, missing evidence, or proposed expansion returns through the agreed review path. Discovering another opportunity does not silently widen the workflow's authority.
